My name is Petra Veldkamp
I have been living in The Hague for many years.
Beginning of June 2022 my husband and I, together with our cat Pip and dog Bravo, have moved to the south of France.
Since November we live in Deaux, a charming little village in the Gard.

Pip, our White Norwegian Forrest Cat, was five years old when she was diagnosed with diabetics.
We administered her insulin twice a day, using a lancet devise.
Despite all our care she had a Ketoacidosis twice in Spring 2022. Due to our care and hospitalization at home and her remarkable perseverance, she survived.
Nevertheless we have had to let our darling beauty go last October her in France.
She died of incurable Cat Aids. Even the Vets had not known that she was FIV infected.
She has been 11 years old and lived with us for 7 years.

Her social character, her perseverance and her joy of live and of course her beauty made me decide to let her be the corporate image of my small enterprise : “La Choupette des Chats”. 

Four years ago I have taken the course “Expert Cat Care”.
The behavior of cats is complicated and there is so much to learn about.
With the knowledge I have gained I became more and more enthusiastic and decided to put this knowledge into practice by starting my specialized Cat Care service. I am looking forward to getting to know your cat. Each cat has different needs. I always analyze the specific needs of your cat. With my love, knowledge and experience I will do my utmost best to make sure your dearest has a great time while you enjoy your lovely and carefree holidays.
